WWI US Pilot Wing Robbins Design Sterling 2 inch Navy 2nd Class Diver The Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB)One of the more famous wings designs of WWI is the Robbins wing (See our P 1149). This is a smaller version of that wing and may have been used on a shirt or given as a sweetheart wing to a loved one. The wing is 2 1 4 inches wide and has a drop in catch piin back. The only hallmark is sterling. This is a museum quality reproduction of that wing with the letters US Gold plated.
