Germany, Wehrmacht. A Tank Destruction Badge In Silver Newly Listed obverse features a central white(Panzervernichtungsabzeichen in Silber). Instituted 9 March 1942. (1942 1945 issue). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, consisting of a detailed black painted Panzer IV, affixed to a silver aluminum wire ribbon with three reverse prongs, with machine embroidered black cotton bands at both the top and bottom, the reverse with a dark grey wool liner, the insignia measuring 43 mm (w) x 17. 5 mm (h), the backer measuring 85 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), minor
