Philippe Delesvaux, Coteaux du Layon Anthologie, 1996 (500ml) so041626 30 under 30 offer The 2005 is fully matureA museum piece sweet wine, and one of only four Anthologie vintages Philippe Delesvaux ever produced. In four decades, the cuve was bottled just four times 1995, 1996, 1997, and 2010 only when botrytis cooperated at the highest possible level. The 1996 is fully botrytized Chenin Blanc from Coteaux du Layon, reaching the kind of sugar concentration (around 530 g L of residual) that puts it in conversation with the great sweet wines of the world.
