Germany, Third Reich. A Fire Brigade Honour Badge, Ii Class United Republic of The Military Order of Max(Reichsfeuerwehr Ehrenzeichen II. Klasse). Instituted 22 June 1936 by Wilhelm Frick. (1936 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms bearing stylized red enameled flames, with a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a black mobile swastika, with a ring through the quadrants bearing an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE IM
