Germany, Third Reich. An Order Of The German Eagle, V Class With Swords, By C.f. Zimmermann Auction (Volkssturm Armband für Mitglieder)(Deutsches Adlerorden, V. Klasse mit Schwertern). Instituted 1 May 1937. (1943 1945 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enameled arms, with each arm joined through the quadrants by a gilt NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed with a white enameled centrepiece and gilt mobile swastika, the obverse overlaid by a central gilt sword clasp, the twelve oclock featuring an integral fan
