These rings were often exchanged between lovers as a proclamation of love and commitment, or as gifts or symbols of spiritual or religious dedication. The Sanguine ring is an interpretation of the poesy ring as a reminder of self love, growth, regeneration and inner strength. Sally (she her) is a first generation Chinese Australian contemporary jeweller residing on Gadigal land
