One constructed of a field grey card stock binding with 54 paginated interior pages, featuring stamped and handwritten entries to Alois Barus, a native of Vienna who was born on 25 May 1924, entered Wehrmacht service in 1942, and who served with staff units of a number of Ersatz und Ausbildungs (Replacement and Replenishment) units on the Eastern Front, Barus was notably trained on the
