Inspired by history, this collection of flat weave Dhurrie rugs carries the essence of traditional Indian rugs both in their texture and in their use. The rugs were originally used by the desert nomads to build their houses on, as they originally served to protect people from the ground. They represented an object of daily use; while providing comfort, they also defined the space. Over time, the rug has
