It was salvaged from a building fallen into disrepair in Gujarat and made from Rosewood . It depicts Ganesh in the centre flanked by deep floral carvings interweaving with Shiva's trishul (trident) a Hindu protection symbol. Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and blesses every home to make the day to day lives of occupants easier. This particular piece dates from the 19th
