Providential Tile Trivet Child Sewing Scheurich The edges are sharp andA beautiful antique tile by the Providential Tile Company (1886 1913) of Trenton New Jersey. Its circular form is molded in low relief with an image of a young girl sewing. It measures 6" in diameter and site 1 2" high. The edges are glazed and the back has three in mold raised feet so it can be used as a tea tile or trivet. Covered in an aubergine glaze there is virtually no wear. The back is embossed with "The Providential Trenton NJ K. R. & C".
