This unique feature means test tube racks or flasks can be placed across the whole width of the bath without fouling the lid maximising the bath working area. No drip points to contaminate work in the water bath. Water evaporation is reduced at elevated temperatures, maintaining water levels in the Clifton water bath. Lid fits
