Gold is applied in the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo in a lovely and somewhat sunburst geometric design  Great textural interest comes from hand engraving small dots along some of the sun's rays

These earrings do have a contemporary design but with a somewhat ancient feeling to them due to the aged look caused by my etched design as well as the use of this somewhat ancient gorgeous copper alloy that I have made myself

So much fun

They transition easily from from day to evening and will compliment just about anything you might be wearing

The end result is a lovely shimmering effect quite dramatic against the varied shades of silver to black. Goes with everything, incredibly lightweight, sterling silver ear wires. As is true of all of my work, I have signed these on the reverse side and included
