Blair Line HO 124 Handcar Set-Off - Kit (Laser Cut Wood) - 1 x 11/16" 2.5 x 1.8cm pkg(3) REC_SES_281 8 cm / 18-7/16"Track workers, section gangs, signal maintainers and roadmasters used handcar set offs to clear the line for passing trains, and to turn their handcars and motorcars for the return trip. Some roads required set offs every mile, and they were often found at signals and sidings as well. Based on prototype railroad standards, this kit includes parts to build three complete stand offs on a fill (with supports for one end) or level ground.
