Colour Study Minimalism After letting me capture aThis study was an exploration of texture, materials, colour. By using my fingers to paint I felt closer to the work, there was an element of primal mark making. This technique allowed me to disengage from the formality of painting with oils and allowed me a more primal, raw approach to painting. Using my skin to manipulate the paint felt freeing as sometimes the brush can be limiting in terms of mark making. untitled March 2022 A4, Oil on Paper
