Laphroaig 8y/o 2017 Thompson Bros. 57.1%abv 30ml Tasmania I first bought Wild RiverMatured in a selection of refill barrels, this Laphroaig punches well above its age in terms of flavour and texture. Tasting notes: Nose: Classic Laphroaig medicinal peat with new bandages and vanilla alongside touches of citrus and tar. Palate: Explosive peat and lightly honeyed malt, touches of chalk and more citrus. Finish: Big and clean with touches of fuel alongside the heavy medicinal peat.
