Filipa Pato 'Flos Castanea' Bical 2022 Style:White and finishing with a bit100% Bical macerated with chestnut petals, an old Portuguese method that is used in place of sulfur additions. It's fermented in a basket press and spends 2 weeks on its skins before aging half in barrel and half in amphora. Deep and sultry but also precise, elegant, and haunting. Only 1155 bottles made.
